THE HAUT-GAST FARM,
A REFERENCE MODEL
In Vitré, Ille-et-Vilaine, the Haut-Gast farm belongs to SVA Jean Rozé. Almost all French meat breeds are reared there on 170 hectares of grassland.

INNOVATE
Haut-Gast is a pilot farm where a whole range of good breeding practices are implemented, in order to promote the very best in the French cattle industry.

GIVE PRIORITY TO
GRAZING
The herds are fed over 85% grass from the farm, and fodder also comes from the farm all winter.

CONTINUOUS
IMPROVEMENT
Tests and evaluations are carried out regularly, with the aim of reducing production costs and environmental impact.

All this while promoting animal welfare (dynamic rotational grazing, GMO-free feed, extension of open-air grazing time to 8 months per year, etc.).

Certified Label Rouge, the farm acts as a showcase site for all our partners.
